AI agents will handle real value and sensitive decisions.
For that to work, we need both intelligence and security.
LLMs bring the intelligence. Agent harnesses bring the security boundaries. IronClaw is ready!
"LLMs are the mind and agent harnesses are the body and they both have a very important role to play in security." - @georgexzeng
IronClaw was designed with this reality in mind - delivering the strongest performance on AttackBench.
Governance in action.
The 30% developer gas rebate is being removed as NEAR evolves.
As Illia explained, most applications now sponsor gas themselves, making the old incentive structure less relevant.
Great to see this passing.
This is removing something that doesn't work to keep NAER Protocol simpler and cleaner going forward.
Initially I designed developer gas rebate as an incentive for developers to build components that others will reuse.
But as adoption of NEAR evolved - we saw that most applications usually just sponsor gas and take the fees in other ways (spread, subscription, even ads). If smart contract has valuable state - it can charge for it, and if it doesn't - it's just a library and gets bundled into application contract. Especially now when AI can just write any code easily.
Implementation also led to create hard accounting challenge - it's really hard to distinguish this rebate from other user deposits of funds.
It's not really about massively changing the value capture but to simplify the protocol here and avoid developers in the future misusing it.
It's also a great test of House of Stake changing core economics parameters in preparation for other proposals.
Excited to have explicit governance for economics of $NEAR.
Users want privacy. NEAR delivered.
✦ $1.5B+ ZEC settled privately across NEAR Intents
✦ 42% of https://t.co/UvW2uMHziT volume now in Confidential Mode
✦ $30M+ daily confidential TVL
Confidential Intents is now generally available to every builder. Get started ↓
NEW LAUNCH
Confidential Intents is now generally available, bringing NEAR's confidential execution infrastructure to all builders.
Devs and dApps can bring confidential execution to their users through the NEAR Intents 1Click Swap API.
The privacy renaissance runs on NEAR 🧵
Find out what's next for NEAR Intents today at 11 AM EST, live with @ilblackdragon and @AlexAuroraDev on the official NEAR X and YouTube.

Every major computing shift needed a secure foundation to scale.
NEAR is building the layer for intelligence - enabling agents to act reliably while keeping what matters most protected.
The foundation of secure agents: Channels (Telegram, WhatsApp, Web, etc.) → Engine → Permission Gate.
With Docker sandbox, local execution, WASM tools, and encrypted secret store.
This is how IronClaw makes user-owned agents trustworthy.

“Unlike any other AI company in the world, NEAR AI is built to ensure that your enterprise agentic workflows are Private, Secure, Specialized and Context aware.”
IronClaw + Private Inference + Confidential Intents = agents you can actually trust with the things that matter most.
The agent economy is coming powered by NEAR.
Heading to #ICML in Seoul? 🇰🇷
We are treating all attendees to free coffee.
Come say hi, share ideas on agentic AI, and talk private agents over caffeine.

"AI is the front end. Blockchain is the back end."
Every device powered by an AI operating system, with agents executing on-chain actions securely.
This is why we’re excited about the agentic era and what $NEAR is building.

From seamless cross-chain experiences, to high-performance perps and privacy-preserving transactions, we’ll dive into how these ecosystems are each pushing DeFi forward.
Don’t miss it. 🔥
The power of @near_intents lies in simplicity.
Tell the network the result you need.
It handles the complexity across chains, with full guarantees.
$NEAR is building to power the Agentic Economy.
"Agent harnesses are the final operating system."
@ilblackdragon expands on the vision at Stanford on why secure, user-controlled harnesses like IronClaw will shape the agentic era.

Last week I presented at the Real World AI Security Conference at Stanford hosted by @danboneh.
There was many papers presented on ways to attack LLMs and agentic systems, mostly leveraging prompt injection. Most research is trying to address prompt injection in the LLM by training itself, but I think this will be increasingly challenging and continue leaving probabilistic gaps.
We can’t blame LLMs for these vulnerabilities – any system can be attacked, including a human intelligence (e.g. phishing and ads).
We need to build AI systems with this threat vector as an assumption, rather than an exception. Every input is potentially an attack surface.
At @near_ai, we’re are building @IronClawAI with exactly this systems thinking - assuming external inputs are compromised and design harness to handle that.
Broader I think of harness as an operating system, and we need to build more effective and secure AI OS that can be trusted with all of our context, sensitive data and decisions.
We’ve evolved from manual search and passive chat to agents that take action and now to multi-agent systems capable of executing complex, coordinated tasks.
NEAR is building secure execution for the agentic era. Designed with adversarial inputs as a baseline, not an edge case.
