a lot of people have been asking me how to bridge to $NEAR
here’s the only guide you need
i found 3 methods:
- @rhea_finance
- @shardsmarket
- near(.)com
if the chain isn’t congested, rhea is the fastest option
you can move tokens from almost any chain to near in seconds
the only downside is that it’s not the most efficient route from sui
shards basically saved me when i first started using near
go to the bridge section and:
1. choose the chain you’re bridging from and the amount
2. add your sending wallet under “refund to”
3. send the exact amount to the address provided
4. wait for it to process, or paste the tx hash under “already sent” to speed it up
near(.)com works in a similar way, with a few extra steps
if it’s your first deposit, you’ll need to complete the one-time confidential deposit first
then:
1. deposit the token you want to use
2. go to home and select “swap”
3. select near
4. confirm the trade
once you find the method you prefer, repeating the process is pretty straightforward
for sui specifically, i’d use near(.)com
you can deposit directly into your account and swap into near pretty quickly
rhea also has a route through usdc, but most of the time i get:
“failed to broadcast sui transfer”
save this post, near trenches are gonna be on fire next week
