Some people go to Arbor Day Farm for the trees. I go for the beef brisket. Porter’s BBQ at Arbor Day Farm smoking brisket so good that it’s worth the entire half-mile nature hike to get there. And remember, we wouldn’t have delicious wood-smoked meats if we didn’t have trees!

Nothing goes better with football than smoked meat! If you’re in Lincoln for the game, stop into Canyon Joe’s on 18th and N. Quickly building a reputation as some of the best barbecue in the state!

The two most satisfying things this fall: 1. Watching @HKHaarberg10 run the power option. 2. Eating beef brisket from Murphy’s Wagon Wheel in Hastings.

Wayne's New Skoo in Omaha. While most places are trying to overdue it with their smoke and rub, Wayne takes a step back, or maybe a step forward, into his new school style with his perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth ribs. These are incredible and some of my favorite in Omaha.

The best brisket in Nebraska might be Uncle Jarrol’s in Norfolk! A family barbecue operation done right, and brisket you won’t forget.

Congratulations to Smokin' Gunz Bar-B-Que for winning Dillon's Auto Ribfest 2021! Smokin’ Gunz Bar-B-Que, who edged out Mary Ellen's by a razor thin margin, earned the title of Best Ribs in Eastern Nebraska, presented by the Nebraska Barbecue Council.
