@Mylovanov We often see russians claiming US or others were interfering with Ukraine, that is why the war started in 2014. However, it was russia who installed UA defense and internal affairs ministers with ru passports, who sabotaged all UA ability to resist the invasion of 2014.
@dragos_fotache@AmpedRebel@xruiztru But it is much better to have some sunshine after work, instead of it being dark when you go to work, and dark when you are coming back.
@LovcaZymian98@JackSpa99354920@d_foubert Every normal person should care about his ancestors (Ruthenians, Lithuanians, Poles) being oppressed by boyars. Neighbor Sweden went the other way and got stronger, while PLC ran down most of its population to nothing, harming overall economic development too.
@PunishedRWR On the other hand- once UA was invaded, Zelensky is much better than Poroshenko at uniting Ukraine's population in a long war. Poroshenko might be smarter, but Zelensky is more charismatic 2/2
@PunishedRWR Zelensky in 2019 started soft on russia, and hard on UA army (had no respect to it, and stopped weapon acquisitions). A populist platform, with lots of pro-russian politicians brought back. One can argue, that this definitely gave russia an encouragement to invade. 1/2
@Rebel44CZ@cimbalekj Falcon 9 launch cost for SpaceX is estimated to be 10-15mln., so even if renting it at 50-70mln. is cheaper than than other alternatives, it was criminal of Ariane bosses to reject developing European multi-use launchers.
@petite_michelle How many has EU, and what is the EU plan to have reusable launchers and 2nd stage, as well as internet from space, ASAP, with dates? 3/3
@petite_michelle So the situation is reversed now- ~85% mass to orbit is launched SpaceX, ~13% is China (who may end up leading in 5-10 years), then russia and EU- ~1% each. China has 15-20 firms with secured funding doing reusable rocket attempts already, week after week. 2/3
@Ech0_Vane@petite_michelle And friends with every worst dictator too. Then there is Greenland: if annexed, which is clearly the aim, Canada becomes surrounded by US from 3 sides, with their prime minister called 'governor' by Trump for a while already. 2/2
@Ech0_Vane@petite_michelle US was a democracy before Trump, but he already tried to steal the election in Jan 6 attack, but still got elected in 2025. He is certainly more unhinged now, do you think he will not try again? BTW, with full support of billionaire oligarchs now, unlike last time. 1/2
@Ech0_Vane@petite_michelle China being a a single party authoritarian dictatorship is terrible, but at least they are not the neighbor talking about taking over your country. As for the sats- the only way to launch 10k+ sat array is by a cheap (reusable) launcher. Canada needs to co-op with EU.
