.@NebraskaEM residents joined Valley Fire, LaVista PD, and the iEXCEL team for a high-intensity outdoor simulation. From amputations and head trauma to water rescues, the scenarios pushed teams to communicate, adapt and act fast. This was hands-on teamwork at its best!

Why UNMC? The people! Dr. Langenfeld said during my interview that UNMC EM has never given up on a resident and that culture is truly felt in the department.

Big plans before intern year started: I cycled the extended Huandao route- a tour around the entire country of Taiwan, covering over 1,000 kilometers of mountain passes and beautiful coastal roads.๐ดโโ๏ธ
