Nebraska, ICANHELP is hosting a free, virtual digital wellness training on September 28 from 4-6PM. The training will help educate attendees on how they can encourage behavior that promotes mental health wellness online. We encourage you all to attend.

Good evening, Nebraska. We hope you are all doing well. We have been on hiatus for a few weeks now and would like to let you know that we’ll resume our monthly videos from our state officers, the StuCo spotlight posts, and projects surrounding make a wish/state service project.
After a tough end to the school year, it's normal to feel fatigued and exhausted. In order to feel less tired throughout the day, make sure you're establishing healthy habits and getting the suggested amount of sleep!
Abby McGaughey is our third mental health spotlight! Abby is a sophomore at Millard South High School. A hobby that she has partook in throughout quarantine is Baking. Abby enjoys baking a lot! Some things she likes to bake include churros and cheesecake. What a great hobby!
Tristen Glynn is our second mental health spotlight! Tristen’s a senior at Millard South High School. A hobby that he’s partook in while in quarantine is going on zoom and making dance mom pyramids with his friends each Monday. This helps him stay in touch with his mental health.
Jessica Dun is our first mental health spotlight! Jessica is a junior at Kearney High School. A hobby that she has partook in throughout quarantine is making and completing puzzles. By making and completing puzzles, Jessica gives herself a sense of happiness and accomplishment.
We want to spread ideas for mental wellness with your help! Social distancing and quarantine is hard on everyone and we want to spread ways for people to stay happy and healthy! We will pick an entry to post every Wednesday. Please DM @nebraskastuco with your information!
Clayton Zimmerman has been named the NASC Spotlight StuCo Member of the month! Clayton is an outstanding leader in Malcolm High School's Student Council. Clayton's a leader who has integrity and is inspiring. As a leader in StuCo, he's helped lead many events. Congrats, Clayton!

Abby Gardner has been selected to be the NASC Spotlight Student Council Member of the month! Abby is the president of CSHS. Abby is a leader who is empathetic, communicative, and motivated. She's lead many of her council's events. Way to go Abby!
CSHS has been selected to be the NASC Spotlight Student Council of the month! Over their year, they've committed much time and effort into improving their school and home communities. They have worked on projects like Stress Less Week, Senior For Senior, and Halftime!
NASC is a proud partner of @MakeAWishNE sharing in Make-A-Wish’s vision of granting the wishes of every eligible child. Since 1989, NASC has raised over $1 million to help grant the wishes of children battling critical illnesses in Nebraska.

This past week our executive directors attended the NSCA conference in Des Moines. At the NSCA conference, they met with other executive directors and leaders from around the country to share ideas regarding events, leadership, and organization. Way to go!
