This was my last tournament with DKZ, and what can I say...
It's been an amazing journey. I'm proud of me because I'm putting every cell of my body into always doing my best, step by step I can see my hard work paying off, but I'm far from done.
KEEP THE RIGHT MINDSET🔥
(1/2)
With respect, sir, you need social media training. You have managed to piss off almost every corner of the Tekken community. Consequences do have actions and we are seeing that play out in Tekken 8. Claiming that you guys can't ban or penalise people for rage quitting or cheating due to law suits, not letting your player base know that a paid store would be in game ahead of release, claiming to buff defense and then dropping season 2, claiming we were going back to basics and then dropping season 3... and the list goes on.
You absolutely DO NOT deserve death threats or even the playground insults, but you do deserve to be criticised for the product and your juvenile tweets. If Harada and Nakatsu left because of Tekken Twitter then that is entirely their fault. This app does have a lot of unhinged anime pfps on it, but it also has a lot of great people that offered genuine criticism in the most polite way possible, but all you guys ever did was hyper focus on someone saying something nasty, spend time addressing them and then block the people that genuinely love this franchise. You have ignored your core base, focused on arkham asylum inmates on this app and doubled down on your stances.
As a leader, you should be able to shoulder the burden of negativity when you mess up and still steer the ship, offering explanations, clarifications and acknowledgements when you go wrong. You have done none of that. You still haven't clarified your "just block low instead of sidestep" comment from many moons ago.
I don't hate you and i'm sure you're a nice guy in real life but watching you operate on social media is like watching a deer in headlights. None of us are perfect and we all mess up and say dumb things, but you are so incredibly consistent with your bad takes and disdain for the community that I do not think you should be in charge. You're clearly jaded by the push back you get on this app. It would be nice if you could put past grievances aside and actually address concerns directly instead of making silly comments, but maybe I am asking for too much.
In any case, if you are the Captain now, I hope you make the best Tekken game possible and if you're not, then I hope you find happiness and joy in whatever you decided to move onto.
@nillstan That's true, but it only "adds" an extra ±1 rank compared to what you chose, right? Until GoD 6 it's not a big issue. At GoD 6 it becomes a nightmare since you can't play against same rank and if you lose a match against a GoD5 you lose 2200 points and win like 500
@nillstan This post is more of a criticism of ranked system:in S2,at GoD1,you could win 2–1 a set vs GoD and still lose ~100 points, now you can reach GoD4 with almost negative win rate. I simply don’t like this system,80% of players play with a screen turned off and think they're strong🤷🏻
Before Season 2 ends I'm dropping this video. I heard discourse about Heihachi Warrior Instinct Hellsweep and I'm just always surprised at how man people refuse too lab.
and before anyone says "WhAt If He DoEs SoMeTHiNg ElSe?"
It's called risk reward and a mix up. The Basics
So i took part in a dojo tournament valid for the EMEA Tekken Cup, and i had one of the best runs i ever had.
Managed to beat some insane players, among the best you can find in Italy, and got myself a second place which motivates me to do even better in the future 💪
ERNIEDOJO TEKKEN CAMP Vol.I - Finale
Here we are, the day has finally come🥋
This isn’t just a short documentary.
It’s our attempt to capture what can happen when Tekken training becomes shared, structured, and intentional.
Over three days, players from different places and skill levels trained side by side in a structured format.
Not just playing sets, but learning on purpose: theory, practice, one-to-one coaching, and real feedback.
People leveled up - but more importantly, they stopped feeling alone in the process.
And the coaches didn’t just “deliver lessons”: they connected, felt the impact, and took something back with them too.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed by what to work on, or disconnected from your local scene, you’ll recognize the problem this camp was built to solve.
It’s not about being a pro.
It’s about having the right environment to grow.
This wasn’t meant to be a one-off.
The next edition won’t be a copy of the first - it will be shaped around real needs, across countries and communities.
If this experience resonates with you, take part in shaping what comes next.
Join the waiting list for future ErnieDojo Tekken Camps - wherever you’re based - and tell us about your biggest challenges as a player or as a community.
