@cpotato316 Cinematic formula is the cancer I'm talking about. So boring to just walk, play cinematic, play two minutes and repeat for the next 20 hours.
"Gameplay" > proceeds to show a 2 minute cutscene. My problem with this game is that it can barely be qualified as a videogame. I don't mind the female character. Playstation movie-like games are cancer for gamers.
@BIGT521lml True gamers see no distinction among videogame companies, that's for fanboys. I enjoy games. Playstation is just incredible for casuals. At least Xbox has Doom and other decent VIDEOGAMES, not movies.
@gamesongguy1 I've played TLOU, Uncharted 4, GOW2018 and Horizon. All of them were the same formula of cutscene, 1 minute of gameplay, walk and repeat. People don't even replay them again for fun since they're just one and done and boring.
@WillVilla51 Imagine taking critics seriously. IGN gave 10/10 to Mixtape, a game where you barely touch the controller. Please. Marketing and influences of capitalism.
@Flow_tsol@walterMcBean You can have a balance. The point of games is to have FUN and PLAY. The video part was never for cutscenes. It was an interactive toy you can play on your TV. If I wanted to watch movies I'd watch Netflix. You're too young if you don't understand the "video" part.
@gamesongguy1 There are videogames where cutscenes are crucial for the story or gameplay itself (like Baldur's Gate 3), but most of these scenes on Playstation games are just videos to drag up the game. You could cut half of the cutscenes and the game would benefit itself.
