@yankeesfan8209@CTWesleyan@AustinRBechtold There’s not billionaires sitting around waiting to purchase any MLB team and even then small market teams aren’t pulling in enough revenue to keep up with the spending of the dodgers, Mets, and Yankees of the world
@yankeesfan8209@CTWesleyan@AustinRBechtold Brother the padres are owned by a multi billionaire investor. They aren’t really “small market”. The Reds owner is worth 400 million. Less then the entire dodgers payroll
@yankeesfan8209@CTWesleyan@AustinRBechtold Sorry man I’m tired of my small market team never being able to keep a homegrown star once they hit free agency. I know you big market fans don’t have to deal with it. Sucks knowing Elly and Chase Burns will be Yankees/Dodgers in a few years on overpaid contracts
I’m not saying what the MLB proposed is great, but it’s a good step. I think it’s funny that almost every account that is against a salary cap is a Dodgers, Yankees, or Mets fan.
@Murray1080@BucksinPhilly The 170 million floor is contingent on everything passing. This would include the extra ≈100 million teams will get from equal revenue sharing. Doesn’t necessarily mean every team could afford a 170 million roster right now
