The words don’t matter as much as the actions do

So whether a kid says my bad or not, what matters is how they respond to a mistake and whether or not they truly own it and learn from it

If saying my bad inhibits that, there’s other issues

IMO, "My Bad" is cultural slang for I messed up. We know it's your bad, but what are you going to do to rectify the mistake. It is a cop out. The easy way. In a society screaming for accountability, "My Bad" gives none. Eye contact, chest pat, no words. Sincerity plays.

Not that this isn’t already happening along with velo development but I’d imagine if a guy truly throws 6, 7, 8 pitches a la Yu Darvish, scouting reports will be that much harder to hone in.

Hitters are good, gotta stay one step ahead and keep them guessing.

I believe the next paradigm shift in pitching is going to focus on the ability to throw a more vast array of pitches with different movement profiles.

More splitters, screwballs/reverse sliders, cutters, sinkers, etc.
