CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER APPOINTMENT | RMB CORPORATE
RMB has appointed Judy Kobus as Chief Executive Officer of Corporate.
The appointment follows an 18-year career at RMB.
Kobus joined the bank in 2008 through its Class Of Programme, a talent development initiative for young professionals. In 2009, she moved into Infrastructure Sector Solutions, where she later led the team for six years.
Under her leadership, the infrastructure business transitioned from a predominantly product-led model to a sector and client-led approach. RMB reports that the division doubled its profit before tax during this period.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Honours in Commerce, both in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town and the University of South Africa respectively, as well as a Master of Commerce in Business Management from the University of Johannesburg, which she completed with distinction.
Congratulations are in order ๐๐พ

The EFFโs Statement on the Second Extension of the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry
-Yet despite these significant developments, both interim reports remain hidden from the South African public. This Commission does not belong to President Ramaphosa, it belongs to the people of South Africa. These are not matters of private correspondence between the Commission and the President but they concern the constitutional integrity of the Republic itself. It is therefore unacceptable that the President alone determines what the public may know while simultaneously implementing prosecutorial and administrative recommendations arising from reports that no one outside the Executive has been permitted to scrutinise.
