A "painless tax" would occur the day before a zero CGT went into effect, at the previous rate. Not only would all previous appreciation be taxed but also the appreciation from dropping the CGT. Result: about $3T in taxes and $7T in gains. Everybody wins. There's more...
Read article on Trump reducing capital gains (CGT). The libs have it wrong. Increasing the CGT would cause stock prices to fall, so "appreciation" would disappear. The correct approach is to set the CGT to zero. The day before the rate went to zero enact a "painless tax".
@Heritage How does one offer policy suggestions? It seems you feel you have all the answers and don't want feedback. Your solutions sound a little 1900's.
If Democrats impeach President Trump, it will go to trial in the Senate
Sen. Harris
Sen. Klobuchar
Sen. Warren
Sen. Booker
Sen. Sanders
Are all running to beat him in 2020
Yet they’re expected to be “impartial jurors?”
RT if they should recuse themselves from the trial
Please do not retweet this photo of the scam-whistleblower, #EricCiaramella. He does not want his name or picture to go viral so please, whatever you do, do not hit the retweet button.
Thank you in advance.
@realDonaldTrump WAR hasn't worked.
Make drugs legal and regulate them. This will improve the quality, reduce the incentive to get people hooked, and allow for professional care for the addicted.
This will eliminate drug cartels, a significant amount of domestic crime, and most over-dosing.
@AndrewYang The business cost of healthcare makes the all-in cost of employing older workers unattractive.
If the healthcare deductible were eliminated (a UBI should make up for that deduction loss) cost/benefit would shift toward performance, and away from cost.
@charliekirk11 This has been a complete waste of time.
BUT, is anybody surprised?
There are those that will NEVER vote R, but I bet some of them are seriously reviewing that position, because of Schiff.
@AndrewYang I would have added that this money would replace tax deductions that go primarily to the rich.
Your current plan is to give them money, and add a VAT, which would increase their costs. BAD IDEA
@charliekirk11 As a result, no candidates for President would advertise or campaign is those states, and programs would only consider big state votes.
I admit that getting rid of the advertising might be a good thing.
Did you know:
15 states have signed on to eliminate the electoral college
If we eliminated the electoral college, states like Iowa, Wisconsin, and Mississippi would lose their voice
California, Florida, and New York would control every election
We can’t let it happen
@scottsantens A socialist country is less sensitive to the "little people", than a capitalist one, and more sensitive to the oligarchs that keep "leaders" in power. At least in the US, elites have to buy votes.
@AndrewYangVFA It WILL come naturally, but it will come so quickly the current welfare and unemployment systems will crash. Do we hire millions of those unemployed to try to make these flawed systems work, because of volume even worse than now, or do we anticipate a job crisis with a #UBI?
