The Department of Public Works designs, administers and operates the highway, parks, forestry, water, sewer & drains, and recycling & waste in Needham.
As a reminder, with significant rainfall it is typical for roadways to collect stormwater as it works it way through our drainage system and will take some time to dissipate . DO NOT drive along roadways that have significant flooding.

Scoop the poop!
When your dog poops, you must scoop the poop.
During rainfall, pet waste left on lawns, beaches, trails and sidewalks washes into storm drains. These wastes and the pathogens they contain (bacteria, parasites, and viruses) end up flowing directly into ecosystems.
