Risk management is your best friend in memecoins.
1. Never go all in, no matter how good it looks
2. If the MC is low start with a small buy
3. Don't overbuy, you can always add later
4. Assume every coin will go to zero
5. Never revenge trade after a loss
6. Know when to stop for the day
7. Its okay to sit on the sideline of a coin there will always be another cook
8. Journal every trade, wins AND losses
9. Your first job isn't making money, it's staying in the game
The people making millions have been doing this for years. Survive first.
In only 2 weeks at @TheTrenchpit I have hit these bangers:
4stock:native - 865x
solana:EKtmPPLaCbEEKiwoHHtV7TsRsmPXs5CMGtQtZFSiinsc - 110x
robinhood:0xe02c53d448a62067b2ac10ed70f5bc6c29471386 - 47x
$7STOCK - 47x
$WIRE - 23x
And many more to come.
One thing that's genuinely improved my trading is being in a group where people actively share research, not just calls. Everyone works together to DD and spot the runner for the day.
If that's something you're looking for and you wanna get connected with some dedicated traders, join the chat: https://t.co/bpGjoCswxs
I lost $10k trading meme coins. Here's what I learned:
1. DO NOT TRADE BETAS
There's always one main runner per narrative, and those runners usually have no ceiling. Betas move off that runner's momentum and rarely reach the highs you're chasing. Most just dump.
2. DO NOT COPY TRADE
A tracked wallet aping in isn't a buy signal on its own. DYOR; the narrative could be weak, and the crowd won't follow. I only ape when multiple good wallets + strong thesis + solid narrative line up. Never base it on 1-2 traders.
3. DO NOT RUSH
When you see a coin with lots of volume, don't panic buy. Wait for the dip, take time to do your research, and if the chart's steady and the narrative is strong, it will bounce back.
4. DO NOT OVERINVEST
Size properly. If you've got $1k, don't put 50% into one trade. Build your port with small trades first. This will give you time to learn without losing all your capital or your motivation.
5. ALWAYS TAKE PROFITS
Unrealized gains aren't real money. Taking profits locks in wins that you can reinvest, protects you from round-tripping to zero, and keeps you in the game longer. That's how you compound instead of gambling.
@B7651314928930 The acat narrative is decent, but not good enough to put too much of your time into. I think it'll probably go to zero from now on; it was made a while ago, and people have moved on.
I tell anyone who wants to get into it that it’s impossible to teach and just requires hundreds if not thousands of hours of screen time to learn the intuition needed
Gladly help them get into it by linking them to groups they can join, telegram channels, good ct accounts, pump app, and basically just tell them to start putting hours into the above and start playing around with small money while trying to understand why each of the coins they look at or buy go up or down
I aped the dip at 150k for $AMD Advanced Micro Dog
The market is slow now and will pick up soon
This is the perfect narrative at the best price right now to get in
The #1 runner for AMD, and it's a dog
