After all, this is a govt. university and it has to be affordable & accessible for all.

Think about those who belong the lower-middle class and are already suffering in the current inflation.
Think about those who work hard, give tuitions, or work part-time to pay their fees.
Think about those whose monthly pocket money is less than your weekend's outing expense.
Now, if you think this 104K isn't much, then you need to get out of your tiny elite bubble and be a little empathetic.
I know a lot of you (including me) can easily pay the fees.
But think about people who can't.
This injustice is forcing the 'cream of the nation' to come out on streets and protest.
At this time when their finances should be the last thing they should worry about, they are being forced to worry about them at the expense of their studies.
We demand @Dow_Uni admin to totally waive off the library and student activity fees immediately. We further demand the reduction of point fees to 25K and examination fees to 5K (same as JSMU) and to improve the transport system (obv by purchasing new points).
Transport fees = 32K?
1. Half of the points are in worst conditions and often break down and students have to travel on their own
2. Majority of the points are so overcrowded that you don't even have space to stand. A lot of times girls fainted in the points due to suffocation.
Library fees = 10K?
A govt university charging for library is like charging someone to breath oxygen
Moreover, the library hardly accomodates 150 students whereas the college has a total strength of 1700+ students.
Means you can't get a single seat in library in college hours.
