*A father’s heart knows no peace until his child is safe — a feeling I truly realised over the last three days.

After three anxious days and sleepless nights, I am eagerly awaiting to hug my daughter Somya, who was stranded in Dubai. These hours kept me completely on tenterhooks. Thankfully, she and her colleague Vikrant Abrol are now on their way back to New Delhi by Emirates flight, landing at 2:10 AM. A deeply emotional moment for a father.

My heartfelt thanks to Hon’ble Minister @RamMNK whose timely intervention became instrumental in facilitating the return of my daughter and her colleague. Also grateful to Hon’ble Smt.@smritiirani for her constant support and concern, as always.

I express my deep appreciation to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi for fostering such strong international coordination that ensures the safety and well-being of every Indian.

Shameful experience with @IndiGo6E.

I travelled from New Delhi to Belagavi on Flight 6E-5237 today. While I reached my destination, my baggage did not. There is no clarity on its whereabouts. This has caused me immense mental agony, serious inconvenience, and financial loss as I am compelled to purchase essential clothing and personal items immediately.

My baggage also contains important and valuable documents, making the situation even more distressing. Such negligence and poor baggage management are completely unacceptable.

If this is the experience extended to a sitting Member of Parliament, one can only imagine the plight of ordinary passengers.

Rahul Gandhi has once again chosen a foreign stage to insult India. From Berlin, he repeats the same tired script that Indian democracy is in danger, institutions are compromised, and elections are unfair. This is not courage, this is cowardice. Every time the Congress is rejected by voters, Rahul Gandhi cries conspiracy. When courts do not favour him, they are labelled biased. When agencies act, they are called political tools.

India does not need lectures from a leader who has lost election after election and still refuses to introspect. Defaming the nation abroad to hide personal political failure is not leadership. It is desperation. The people of India have repeatedly given their verdict, and no amount of foreign applause can erase that truth.

Over the last few days, the large scale operational breakdown at @IndiGo6E has caused massive inconvenience to passengers across India, with flight cancellations, long delays, confusing information and poor crowd management at airports. Traders, professionals, students, patients and families have suffered serious mental stress and financial loss.

I have written to Hon’ble Civil Aviation Minister Shri @RamMNK ji (letter attached) seeking an immediate inquiry into this crisis, compensation for all affected passengers and stronger regulatory oversight so that such a failure is not repeated.

Indian air travellers deserve a reliable and accountable aviation system. No airline should be allowed to take passengers for granted.
