🇵🇰We have amazing system from NADRA and the world is going digital. But we insist on having elections which use no technology. 🚫👩‍💻

🤡We count votes physically which is just stupid and inefficent in 2023.

🚗We use fuel to get to polling booths which is just not required when we own phones. Physical booths should only be for people who opt out of voting via phone.

🏦You can do bank transactions from your phone in a secure manner but you have to use stamps and papers to vote.

Other countries doing it is a dumb argument.

@Huk06 Valid point! Have you pondered why? Charging 1-3% MDR to merchants means they get 97-99 Rs when buyers pay 100 Rs. Penalizing merchants may drive them to embrace digital payments. Post UPI, India slashed MDR to zero, boosting digital transactions.
