Nakita and I were medical school classmates and both interns in New York City. Nakita tragically took her own life on May 26.

She is such a beautiful soul. She was so fun to be around. She was intelligent, charismatic, and confident. (1/x)

The Indiana Senate today passed a blatantly unconstitutional bill denying certain gender-affirming care for incarcerated trans Hoosiers, placing their health at risk.

This discriminatory bill would deny this care based solely on the fact that they are transgender.
