29 अगस्त को देर रात IP विजया मॉल के पास नाबालिग किशोरी की लाश पेड़ से से लटकती हुई मिली। परिजन लगातार यौन दुष्कर्म और हत्या की आशंका जताते हुए थाने का चक्कर लगाते रहे। आज 3 सितंबर 2024 को थाना प्रभारी विजय ने #FIR दर्ज करने से मना कर दिया है।
