Look at this image. This is from today's #TerroristAttack in Kathua. Tell me how anyone can come out alive from this situation.

In a non-bulletproof vehicle on a single road with no scope for evasive maneuvers, terrorists hiding in the greenery have the advantage of opening fire with multiple automatic weapons. How would you escape? If you somehow survive the initial burst of fire, where would you take cover to retaliate when your enemy can see you and you can't see them? This is a sitting duck situation.

Such scenarios can only be avoided if we stop infiltration and prevent the On-Ground Workers (OGWs) from passing intelligence about troop movements and other administrative support to terrorists. But since OGWs live like regular citizens, it becomes difficult for the army to tackle them. If you pick one for interrogation, the whole human rights machinery puts so much pressure that even the government yields to them.

No terrorism can survive long without local support. Without tackling local support, you can't end terrorism. When will we understand this?
