Addis Ababa has began planting the graceful & evergreen Podocarpus falcatus (ዝግባ), but should seek advice on how and where to plant, as well as how to manage this remarkable native tree. The pictures were taken from the vicinity of Bole International Air Port Fuel Depot.

The picture on the right is that of #Ficus vasta, planted on 09 Jul. 2011 by the x-president of the #Republic of Korea, Lee Myung-bak. I was gratified to see #AAU’s class of 2024 getting ready to have some of their memorable pictures taken in front of this regal young tree.
