Last week, a small COMMUTE team (@Negin_Baba , Özlem and Maryam) were in Catania to meet the team of Prof. Francesco Pappalardo, one of the leaders in Agent-Based-Modeling (ABM). The idea was to find out whether we can simulate co-morbidity mechanisms between COVID and neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer, Parkinson).

@ApitiusHofmann @schnellenbachj It’s really sad to see students, international and local, living in tiny rooms, often under 25 m², and struggling with this heat. Some can’t even keep windows open at night because they live near railways. Why is it so hard to make life a bit easier for people here in Germany?!
