The brother is now applying for parole.

He helped murder 4 women in his own family because they were wearing western clothes and had boyfriends in Canada and their step-mother was their only refuge and also she wanted a divorce because she was tired of the abuse. He murdered 4 people. And the media was worried if it was appropriate to call it honour killings and there was much debate amongst them all and the court charged them with “committing murder under the guise of honour killings”. As if honour killing is a mask these people wore to pretend something they aren’t to commit something that isn’t really real. And he’s now up for parole. Less than 15 years after being convicted of 4 murders. And for as long as the west plays this game, they are complicit in the violence women like Rona, Zainab, Sahar, and Geeti don’t survive.
