Glass Beach at Ussury Bay in the Russian Far East.
Those beautiful pebbles are bottle debris polished by the sea water. This place used to be a dump for old glass bottles from a local porcelain factory. Nature has corrected man's mistake, and created another piece of beauty.
Fossil trees that have come close to today's tallest redwood heights have been found in northern Thailand. The longest of petrified log measures 237ft, suggesting original tree towered more than 330ft in a humid tropical forest about 800,000 years ago.
