But with 2 years to go we have already sanctioned about 97 lakh houses out of the revised assessed demand of 1.12 cr homes. At this rate, we will be able to reach our target by the first quarter of 2020.

After a sanction of 3.31 lakh more houses in the 49th CSMC Meeting today the total number of houses sanctioned is now inching towards the magical one crore figure and has now reached 96.5 lakhs out of a total validated demand of 1.1 crore homes.

2.58 lakh houses have been approved today in the 49th CSMC meeting under #PMAYUrban.

With this, Andhra Pradesh is now leading on the #HousingForAll table for the maximum number of houses sanctioned under the mission, followed by Uttar Pradesh.
