@ThePhDPlace I was quite excited to study soils! Was making a context switch from my MS academic background and it was exciting to do something new for a few years.
@Melterialsgal I recently went through this phase and can attest - it is extremely nerve wrecking and ‘anxiety inducing’!
To be fair to the manuscript decision scenario - I feel the anticipation anxiety is mellowed since it takes a bit longer and meanwhile we are busy with other projects.

Post that - everything’s digital from documentation during experiments, meeting notes to ideas. Life is so much better now that I do not have to sift through 4 lab notebooks to find what was the conclusion from this one specific trial 8 months ago!
