A video purportedly showing several Shahjahanpur Municipal Corporation councillors taking an oath to "honestly" share alleged bribe proceeds among themselves has gone viral on social media, prompting the civic body to order an inquiry, officials said on Tuesday, according to news agency PTI. In the video, a municipal councillor is seen holding a vessel containing Gangajal and allegedly taking an oath that proceeds from bribes would be shared equally among 60 people.

Delhi: A woman says, "There is only one reason for protesting outside the Congress headquarters: we want Rahul Gandhi to talk about giving us equal respect as well. Ask him, your government is in Karnataka, but there is not a single woman minister. We also live in this country; India belongs to us too, it belongs to everyone. We only want to say that he should not take the wrong meaning of triple talaq. We are very strong within ourselves since triple talaq came. We want to say, do your work, include women, and include us Muslim women as well."
GCs want the SC/ST Act's draconian provisions to be removed because that would allow them to openly use casteist slurs.
BJP and Modi paglu final boss.🔥
The so-called General Category Sasta Stalins of India wants the SC/ST Act's draconian provisions to be removed because that way he can openly use casteist slurs without the fear of legal retribution. I oppose this act on principle, and my book Blasphemy has a whole section on it.
The same General Category activist will support 295A, 153A, 244, and many other draconian speech laws so that he can jail someone for criticising his cherished religious beliefs. A bunch of hypocritical assholes.
The so-called Indian leftists support all the above laws because they are the biggest fascists of India. But the same assholes want kids to abuse the PM and not be jailed, but if someone abuses a Dalit MP, that person should be jailed.
The thing is, Indian discourse is pathetic. It is hypocritical. These people are not for individual or personal liberty. Fuck all of you. I am happy alone. I say this with heartfelt disdain.
Dekhiye kisi ne gaali di hai toh aap ninda kar sakte ho.. lekin aise poori machineary lagana.. unko harass karna Police ke through target krna bilkul sahi nahi hai. ✍️

Beyond disgusting. Why is the Noida Police not taking action against this vile person? Labourers demanding fair wages in Noida were slapped with the draconian NSA but someone literally talking about raping dalit women on camera deserves no action?

ISRO on August 23rd: What if we just casually become the first nation to soft land on the Moon's South Pole on a budget smaller than a superhero film?
Okay, sir. So normal people should bring facts and data, but isn't the government also supposed to make policies based on facts and data? If the government is making rules or acts in favour of OBCs, SCs, and STs, shouldn't it also study their impact on the general category, so that they don't feel betrayed?
Before these UGC rules, there wasn't much noise on the ground because everyone knew reservation wasn't going anywhere. But now, the BJP itself is doing this to its own voters. And they feel that if they don't call this out now, there could be more such things in the future.
Okay sir, then whatever rules the BJP makes to get OBC, SC, and ST votes, we should be okay with that? If, hypothetically, tomorrow there were a rule that general category people will have to marry only SCs, then we should marry just so the BJP can get SC votes? Not that I have any problem with anyone marrying anyone as long as both the girl and boy are okay with it. Where did I say that the BJP is bad for economic growth or national security? Can a BJP supporter not disagree with a specific policy of the BJP?
And rahi baat Congress lane ki toh mai Delhi se apne hometown vote dene jati hu hmesa BJP ko hi, jbki hamare ghar toh koi volunteer aata bhi nahi hai BJP ya RSS ka.
Maybe you don't feel the discrimination sir, but many middle class and lower middle class people from the general category do. They don't have enough money or resources either. How is protesting against certain rules a bad idea? My whole family and extended family have been voting for the same party since the Ram Mandir movement.
We haven't even thought about or discussed voting for any other party since the 90s. But BJP doing this again and again is honestly heartbreaking. I understand that the BJP needs to play caste politics, but it shouldn't come at the cost of the general category, especially when many of us have supported the party since Vajpayee ji's time.
Dear BJP,
These were your unconditional foot soldiers, the bedrock of your movement. For decades, they carried the flag of Hindutva and stood firmly behind you at the ballot box, asking for little in return except the protection and dignity of the civilization.
They made conscious compromises with reservations and the harsh realities of the Atrocities Act, suppressing their own grievances for what they believed was a grander purpose: the consolidation and unification of Hindu society. But instead of delivering that unity, you fell into the comfortable rut of identity-driven social engineering and competitive appeasement.
The crowd on the streets may number in the thousands, but the resentment is shared by millions. Do not mistake loyalty for subservience, and do not treat your most reliable supporters like disposable political collateral. Listen to them, address their grievances, and afford them the equal dignity they deserve before their alienation becomes permanent.
