Mohamed Salah has done more to promote peaceful religious coexistence than any celebrity or even religious figure, in my opinion. Every year, at this time, he always sends greetings, specifically to Christians. This is from a man named after the prophet of Islam.

Now, ask yourself which Christian celebrity has consistently done the same for Mawlid (Maulud), which is the Eid marking the birthday of prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu Alayhi Wasalaam).

To the best of my knowledge, none. You don't have to believe in Islam to respect Muslims, and you don't have to believe in Christianity to love Christians. You just have to have grace to love the human race.

When practised as the prophet taught, Islam is one of the most tolerant and empowering religions.

Well done, Salah, well done!
