And Telangana is already starting from a position of strength with the Congress government. Against a national average of roughly one teacher for every 30 students, Telangana has nearly one teacher for every 17.

That is not a marginal difference. It reflects a government that has built significantly greater teaching capacity into its public education system, giving it a stronger foundation to take the next step towards better education and skill development for its youth.

Odisha crawled so that India could run.

Odisha’s minerals have powered India’s industries for decades, while our people continue to bear the pollution, displacement, environmental damage and health hazards that come with mining.

Now, estimates suggest Odisha could face ₹12,000 crore less mineral-related revenue every year, with over ₹1 lakh crore in outstanding dues potentially at stake.

And the BJP governs both Odisha and the Centre. If this is Odisha’s wealth, where is the political will to protect Odisha’s rightful share?

Why should big corporates and industrialists reap the benefits while Odisha bears the costs?

Our natural resources must create lasting prosperity for the people who live on this land—not merely profits for those who extract them.

Odisha gave its minerals. Odisha bears the burden. Odisha deserves its fair share.

If Odisha doesn’t receive the right value for what it gives, it is injustice.
I stand with @INCOdisha to raise this issue until this amendment is repealed!
