Loretta Carey (a/k/a “Grandma Dynamite”) graduated from the transformative Building Bridges to Better Community program on December 4, 2023. Ms. Carey awed the crowd with a poem at the graduation ceremony honoring graduates of who are now official Ambassadors of Peace.

NAC staffer Ming Lowe volunteered on Election Day 2023 as an Exit Poll supervisor for the AALDEF Democracy Program on Nov. 7. Ming and other volunteers were monitoring the polls, ensuring language access, providing election protection, and surveying voters after voting. @aaldef
