@LonoSG People who buy discs aren’t the idiots. I bought wolverine disc on amazon for £55, can resell it get my money back or keep. Digital version is £70, doesn’t discount during preorder,and money lost, then can be took from you. Digital buyers are financially irresponsible

@LonoSG No its not, as both betamax and vhs gave ownership and i still have them both after all these years. Nobody came to my place to take either of it away. Yet I have had loads of digital taken away from me. Digital is a scam and a rip off not progress. vhs/dvd/cd was progress

@playstationyesr Yeah you do, you are worried that this will lead to playstation shutting down, and then you will lose all your digital. The way the gaming industry is going I do not trust buying digital. Digital is only safe as long it is all thriving, and ps is currently losing that.

@_MambaForever_ Discs not worthless, digital is worthless. I buy game on disc, play it, sell it, get money to buy another game, play it, sell it etc. they keep me playing/buying games non stop=fun. Digital is buy game, play game, twiddle thumbs for months saving money, then buy next game=boring

@TheGamesTester I have hunted for marvels ultimate alliance ps4 for many years but have not been able to see one selling on ebay. Digital lasts a lot less than disc, and disappearing faster and faster.

@TheGamesTester I have millions of discs but never get disc rot on them all, I have not seen one yet and blu ray does not get it. I have seen 551 movies get totally destroyed from ps store all in one go.

@goshjoshgames I will only buy a ps6 if has disc drive and play ps1-5 games from disc, but I will not be buying any ps6 games if they will not be on disc. Only chance to play them will be ps+

At least next xbox can play discs even if digital, so can series s, pc, rog ally, you clearly do not understand disc to digital.

@adol1701 @DoesItPlay1 I never received email saying they are ending discs, the email I received said that any digital I buy I do not own, but is a licence and they can revoke the licence and stop me playing game at any moment

@mckee_corey @DoesItPlay1 The rational and realistic thing is that ps will reverse decision as physical is making a come back as people are realising that digital is a rip off and do not really own it. Digital gaming is like gambling and 85% do not gamble these days as both are irresponsible spending.

@beezer812 @Bilboswaggends4 Whilst ps is falling apart and when they shut down you will lose all your digital. The only chance ps have of surviving is keeping discs going. If discs are not saved i will be certainly jumping ship to xbox permanently for good and not touch ps again
