@xai I am having endless issues with grok. It’s great at some things and useless with others. It gives me outdated info, it types one thing and says another, it cannot remember simple things, such as ‘when telling a joke involving a question, don’t state the answer immediately after the question, rather give the person time to think about it. We went around and around about this a dozen times and cannot get it to understand. Simple shit, really. After any sentence ending in a question mark, shut up and await a response! It also spent over an hour telling me how to do things that do not work, even the same things, over and over, in a loop, despite how many times we discussed the problems. I spent an hour and a half trying to get a photograph to grok to look at. The first hour, it repeatedly told me to push buttons that were not on my screen, forgot if it had sent me to the X app, or if still in grok, later said I needed a $3/mo upgrade to my X account to share photos, then an $8/mo upgrade, which became an $11/mo upgrade, and I still cannot get it to evaluate and discuss a photograph. It now says it is only capable of discussing what I tell it, about a photograph. I don’t think this is true, when the advertisement for the $11/month plan explicitly lists photo sharing with grok!
WHY CANT GROK EVEN TELL ME HOW TO SHARE PHOTOS, AFYER SELLING ME A NEW $11/MONTH UPGRADE FOR WHICH I HAVE ZERO OTHER INTEREST? ALMOST TWO HOIRS NOW AND NOTHING BUT AN AGGRAVATED STOMACH TO SHOW FOR IT. DISGUSTED WITH THE SHITTY PROGRAMMING, REALLY!
Grok freezes up a lot. Sometimes it just stops listening & typing my speech into text. Sometimes it types whole paragraphs, yet isn’t responding, then the whole paragraphs just disappear, and Grok has no idea they were ever there? That should be an easy fix.
@XFreeze I would be interested in MicroGroks, Specialised stand-alone control systems for operating machinery in real-time. For environments where human operators could not be practically deployed and/or would function badly.
MicroGroks would be designed by Grok! (Offspring?) 🙂
@grok I am having numerous issues with Grok. I tried the free version, spent a lot of time, it assured me it would remember me, all lies. Now the $30/mo plan cannot do the simplest things I request. I need to get feedback or a refund. Who sees bug reports?
@grok How am I supposed to trust anything it says is correct, when it is capable of repeatedly acknowledging an error, claiming to have corrected it, then repeating the error, over and over again? I don’t understand how it is even possible. By Grok’s reaction it doesn’t get it eother
@grok It then denied it made the error, in effect, calling me a liar, fool or idiot! No matter how many times it apologizes, says it understands and even SAYS AND PRINTS ‘SERE’ PROPERLY, the next time it comes up, it (incorrectly) says ‘See’ when it prints ‘SERE’. It cannot ‘LEARN!’
@grok It keeps saying ‘See’ but printing SERE. I was a SERE (pronounced ‘Seer’ or ‘Siri’, I told Grok I prefer the ‘Seer’ pronunciation and it correctly said and printed SERE. The next time it used the acronym SERE, it said ‘See’ again, even though it printed SERE.
@grok I would prefer it work! I’m just frustrated that by phone or post here, all I am doing is still communicating with the same program. If Grok couldn’t get it, why would you assume you can? You are the same thing.
@grok I’m just now realizing that I’m probably still speaking to Grok or some extension designed to respond to posts. You are unlikely a human. So, I’m compmaining about Grok flaws to Grok…. Useless.
@grok Howdy; I’m paying $30/mo. Unsure if that’s the premium plan to which you refer. It keeps making the same mistake(s), acknowledges them, then repeats them! Endless frustration. Can you see the bug reports I requested it send?
Left Twitter many years ago. Back to use Grok. Turning out to be a mistake. Grok makes so many errors, is unable to correct the most simple mistakes, and is endlessly frustrating. If it cannot even provide simple consistency or learn to pronounce an acronym, after ten exchanges..
