It’s been a long night, it looks like most of the injured have now been rescued. I’ve been at the complex all night but I don’t know where I’m going to live until the fire damage at my house is repaired. Curtis can stay at Jessie’s but he’s only got a 1 bedroom flat. #Neighbours

Susan’s called from the hospital to tell Angie that Melanie’s out of surgery and but is still critical. She also told her that David’s been brought in and rushed into surgery with a bleed on his brain. He had a blow to the head when the roof collapsed at the club. #Neighbours

The Lassiter’s complex seems mainly undamaged by the earthquake. It seems to be mainly debris on the ground. Terese has got Ned setting up The Waterhole as a shelter for people until the hotel can be assessed for damage. #Neighbours

Me and Angie have brought the kids to Harold’s to help out Wendy as she’s staying open through the night. Amy and the babies have been given the all clear at the hospital but Melanie’s been rushed into emergency surgery. #Neighbours

There’s just devastation everywhere. We managed to get a lift to Power Road and the Haunted House at the garage has collapsed and we can’t find Zara, Sadie and the kids anywhere. #Neighbours

Melanie’s just been rushed to hospital. She was unconscious when they pulled her out. Karl’s gone in the ambulance with her. I’m going to go with Angie to Power Road to get the kids and then go to Harold’s. #Neighbours

The emergency services are trying to cut Amy out of the bus. Melanie’s insisted they get Amy out first as she’s pregnant. But I’ve just heard Karl say he thinks Melanie has internal bleeding. #Neighbours

Andrew Rodwell wasn’t injured like most of us and just had a few cuts so is heading to the police station to coordinate the emergency services. Karl and Nicolette are staying here to help however they can. #Neighbours

Thank God Curtis was out walking my Reggie when the earthquake happened. Both my boys are safe. I can rebuild my house. I hope they can get Amy and Melanie out of the mini bus. #Neighbours
