@schutvj2 @RobertCawood2 I agree there needs to be more accountability. But something needs to change. Like a lot of govt spending, huge amounts of money get siphoned off before any of it gets to where it's really needed.
@PaulineHansonOz Please share with us, Pauline. What is One Nations policy or plans to close the gap?
Smoke and mirrors, lots of noise but no substance.
@PaulineHansonOz Coming from a career politician bludging on the Australian Taxpayers who has never been productive. The YES VOTE is going to WIN despite the hatred from people such as yourself.
@PaulineHansonOz It is a reflection on you and yours with your vile, vicious, obnoxious, xenophobia belief system with the lies disinformation and misinformation that you and yours spread.
It must be hard living so scared and full of hate towards a small portion of our society.
@BBleckwehl@PaulineHansonOz@OneNationAus What a load of garbage. You have been watching too many Hollywood blockbusters. Did you know they are all fictitious? If you want to change how the govt works, please contest the next election. That's generally how democracy works - unless you're Donald Trump.
@RyanWil62993886 Many business leader in Aust are supporting the yes campaign. The free speech flag wavers defend their right for free speech but don't like it when people express views different to their own. I'm voting yes regardless of what anybody says.
@RobertCawood2 For decades, aust govts have talked about 'closing the gap' Despite the billions thrown at this, the situation hasn't improved. The referendum is intended change the current situation. It isn't a cure-all, but it's a start. If you want things to change, vote yes.
@schutvj2 @RobertCawood2 If the referendum fails (vote no) then the current situation continues. Nothing changes and billions keep flowing to try to 'close the gap'. If you want something to change...then vote yes.
@goodfoodgal The voice to parliament is quite simple. It's for the govt (via legislation) to consult with indigenous people on matters that concern them. There is no more to it than that. The no camp are using fearmongering to create alarmist stories - most of which are irrelevant. Simples.
@DonGran77277891@theheraldsun Sam would have to win pre-selection as a member of the Labor Party (as they are currently in govt), then get elected to parliament , then topple Dan Andrews to become leader. The chances of this happening are zero - and I think you know that.
@theprojecttv Can you provide a link to Elon Musk saying this? Otherwise you're spreading misinformation. How does closing a twitter account 'preference censorship'. You people should know better.
@ellymelly This is a great example of misinformation. An announcement that the Australian ABC is quitting Twitter would not make the radar of Elon Musk. In any case, he wouldn't give sh1t .
@DoggBurn@abcnews Yes, developing robodebt was a Labor idea but it was implemented under an LNP govt. Same with the NDIS. A Labor govt has the ideas and the LNP govt implements them badly.
@RitaPanahi And where are they going to store the spent fuel rods? You would be aware of the story doing the rounds in the media. Can we find a place to bury the waste in Peter Duttons electorate. The rest of the world is moving to renewables - get on board. You know it makes sense.
@sophieelsworth@australian@aus_media No, they just got tired of the banal abuse they got from people like you. Along the lines of 'we just couldn't be bothered with you anymore'
