Our Caithness, Sutherland and Ross MSP David Green made his first speech as an MSP today.

His speech focused on access to healthcare in the far north and the memory of the late Jim Wallace.

SNP ministers don’t seem to care that the government-owned water company dumps millions of litres of sewage into our rivers, lochs and beaches.

We have a plan to clamp down on sewage dumping, replace outdate rules and standards and get to the bottom of this disgusting practice.

I've spent a long time this week thinking about the SNP financial scandal.

Whatever your political views, there has clearly been an abuse of power that demands serious scrutiny and action to ensure it can never happen again.

🧵: Political parties exist to represent the public. Many of us contribute our time, money and trust to them.

That is why difficult questions must be asked about how an organisation as large and influential as the SNP allowed this situation to develop over such a long period.

The fact the SNP think independence is the most pressing thing Parliament could debate suggests the government is set to waste the next 5 years.

We need to be focussed on fixing the NHS and care, helping people with the cost-of-living crisis and fixing the roads and the ferries.
