Happy Dussehra everyone, let's keep fighting the good fight.

If LTCG goes away or is restructured, will unleash animal spirits in unimaginable ways.

If the tenure is increased, 'patient capital' will be born.

More importantly, this will 'fix' the Rupee!

🤞

I think 'Growth' is probably the most important factor while making an investment decision, which basically has parallels with being in 'sectors with tailwinds'.

Basically, many things like valuation, RoIC, governance are quite important, but if I have to pin point one, 'Growth expectations' bring investor excitement and elevated exit multiples.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

Should Indian investors give an exit to FIIs or aim to own stocks with no FII interest?

Always rains during Janmashtami, brilliant!

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

Happy Janmashtmi everyone 🙏

@Amerzaben1 Japan has an 100 yr plan to win the world cup. That's some commitment and planning. They surely are improving each time we see them.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

@Alchemist1320 @TennisChannel @josemorgado @christophclarey What I meant to say was that if I follow the tennis videos, then I'll be trapped by the algorithm in Tennis and I'll stop receiving Football news. Basically the Algorithm is designed to keep us in a loop.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

I used to be a big fan of F1 and Tennis. But over the years, it's almost as if no news of these two sports ever reaches me. Basically we all are trapped by SM algos and just fed about 1-3 topics of choice.

I think it's healthier to go back to reading newspapers and read all news

@Upintheair380 In 1960s, India had a golden period where we won the Commonwealth Gold, Asian games Gold and had a great run in the Rome Olympics. We had a legendary captain in Chunni Goswami.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

Football World Cup is ongoing, usually I am a huge football enthusiast. But this time, I am feeling a disgust from within because India is not playing.

I want to cheer only for India. It's about time a proper long term plan is put in place..

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

@RohitDavidson09 Never did before my 6yr old started playing at grassroots level. And you are right, it's no where near Cricket. But still, we need to be playing in the world cup.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

@abi_varghese I'm just too bored to wear Argentina national jersey and support Messi now. Actually, it's a feeling of motivation. Maybe after retirement, this should be an area of focus for like minded people like us, get together and get India to not only play, but dazzle in the football WC.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

@ItheHAK The movie Maidan really opened my eyes and it's a true story India had a phenomenal team back in the 60s, where we won gold at the Commonwealth, Asian Games...and gave a big showing even at the world cup.

That was Indian football's Golden age under Chunni Goswami.

I used Fable 5 for a day and today I found out that it's suddenly unavailable, Initially I thought that it must be a bug they are fixing on a new launch.

This evening I realised that the US government has banned access to Mythos and Fable 5 to non Americans.

Wow, wake up time.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

@DivockOrigi You are a legend.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

@CA_Shubham_Ko Well said bhai.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

I deeply feel that investors should do factory visits regularly.

After a few visits, just the factory gate manners will give clues on what could be expected inside and what is gas and what narrative is real.

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

At the end of the day, behavioural edge is probably more important than analytical edge?

[Neil Bahal @NeilBahal]

At the end of all this (whenever the light at the end of the tunnel comes), many would wonder, "why the hell didn't we get in at those valuations?"
