@valmcdermid We’re happy to tell you that your books are helping us to raise money for local Edinburgh charities and that we are now once again able to accept donations.@EdiCommBookshop
Edinburgh Community Bookshop, 179 Great Junction Street.
Our donations are officially open again 🥳🥳
Help us restock our shelves by donating all the old books on your shelves (and make some space for new ones in the process 😉)
We are open every day from 10 - 4 and happy to take donations of any size! 🥰
DADS ROCK 🤘🏾👨🏻🎤🎸
This June we are supporting @dadsrockorg at Edinburgh Community Bookshop!
Dads Rock are an Edinburgh and Glasgow based charity supporting familys and especially dads in creating strong family units and providing their children a great start in life! 💖
@Beathhigh Most of you are missing the main point here. It’s not a question of whether Ian is “safe” or not. Nor is it whether or not this rendition is “flat”or lacks plot. No, it’s the astonishing fact that an app generated this text in seconds. Pause and absorb that thought.
🎉 New in 🎉
Thanks to @bookspeed we've now got a bunch of near-perfect condition books on our shelves! All of them about nature and climate, perfect for our current window display 🥰

📚 This month, @EdiCommBookshop is donating the profits from all sales to Waverley Care.
So, why not pop in and pick up a new or pre-loved book to help us raise as much as possible?

Huge thanks to all the customers and volunteers at @EdiCommBookshop, who've raised over £1730 throughout November to help us keep tackling the causes and consequences of #homelessness in Edinburgh and beyond! It was such a pleasure to be Charity of the Month last month 💙
Thanks to everyone that visited us in November we have raised £1734.82 for @Cyrenians1968, an Edinburgh based charity tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness.
It's #WorldAIDSDay and for December we will be donating 25% of book and cafe sales to @WaverleyCare, Scotland's HIV and Hepatitis C Charity.
Visit us 7 days a week between 10am and 4pm to browse our huge selection of fiction, non-fiction and children's books.
@Beathhigh Most locals have never been in Regent Gardens because you need to live on the Terraces and have (pay for) a key. An astonishingly beautiful 12 acres. I’m renting on Carlton Terrace so, for now at least, I can slip into Edinburgh’s “secret garden”.
