@YTJustGetATesla IIRC DVD-R used to need a 'finish' process before it could be replayed on anything other than the recording machine. DVD+R would play on anything after recording.
@modernheroestv Yup, been there, done that, lost one and found it again but only used once or twice. Almost as weird as the real satnav controls on the back of the steering wheel spoke. Did like the "pop-up toaster" satnav design though . ๐
@BinaryDinosaurs Blimey! That brings back some memories - 1979 or thereabouts building my own Nascom 1 from a bag full of IC's, sockets and a bare PCB - and a lovely keyboard action, no blue cover though. Still got it and a Nascom 2 umm somewhere safe! Henry's Radio anyone?
@konichiwakitty I wonder if you could simply roughen up the gloss with a kitchen scouring pad rather than use sandpaper? Might make less mess and still provide a key for the emulsion paint?
@_OctopusEJ Never leave charging until your battery is empty - always leave enough for a "plan B" just in case there's a problem with *this* charger. Ideally try a quick charge when you first get the car - just to learn how to do it.
@KatzCreates Sometimes it's not so much a 'jacket for warmth' as a not too hot for 'jacket with extra pockets'. Shorts have a distinct lack of pockets ๐
@bobbyllew@standardnews If you read the linked article it's actually a positive spin for EV's with no FUD included. Only the picture used implies 'here we go again' to us EV users.
@ryanteck That would probably be true in UK summertime but this end of the year not so much. Also assumes your roof is optimal with no tree shading. Don't expect miracles!
