Matthew Balchin
Ahead of the recent Donington Park event, we learnt that Matt Balchin had very sadly passed away whilst in Portugal. Prior to this, there had been deep concerns of his whereabouts and welfare following his reported disappearance.
Matt served as the Co-Ordinator of the British Talent Cup, now the Moto4 British Cup, providing coaching and unstinting support and guidance to riders in the Junior classes in the UK and Europe.
On behalf of the British Championship community, we offer our deepest condolences to Matt’s family, friends and colleagues.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday 16th June at St James Church, Emsworth, Hampshire.
Why was the #catalangp one to forget for Jorge Martin?
