Neil Asher

I am co-director & owner of Kirsty's cafe cob shop in South Wigston, former Parish Councillor in Mountsorrel & admin for a home care provider.

@EastMidRailway How does Delay Repay work on bus days?
The 10:53 bus from Lincoln to Grimsby got delayed in Market Rasen and was about 30 minutes late arriving in Grimsby. (It was still near Barnetby when it should have been in Grimsby). Am I allowed to claim a 30 minute delay repay for that?

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@EastMidRailway But TPE were running from Cleethorpes to Liverpool via Grimsby, Habrough & Barnetby.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@GambIingPro Congratulations

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LenGroat And I will continue to wish everyone "Merry Christmas" regardless of who they are.

This is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I will continue to use historical British names to describe the season.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LettersDesk I appreciate still being able to be comfortable in tshirt and shorts with warm sunny days rather than having to wear raincoats.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC ..... And the Government is quite happy to make this worse with £2/litre fuel prices so they can't afford to travel between calls.

Social care is difficult enough to provide with the current Government deliberately targeting the carers without any more political interference.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC Morning Nick,

Not another politician who is clueless about the social care system wanting to reform it.

How about him doing a few 12 hour shifts, on minimum wage, struggling to reach the next call as Labour councils have imposed LTNs that block the roads to the patients......

WHICH UK NEWS service is the most TRUSTWORTY, ACCURATE, IMPARTIAL??
(@BBCNews don't even come second!)
Official figures from @Ofcom

#DefundTheBBC

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC Not only do we need to cut the benefits bill, we need to cut jobs taxes to encourage more employers to hire more staff and increase the tax take by having more people gainfully employed and paying into the system rather than taking money out of it.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LettersDesk At the last election I wasn't allowed to vote.

My DL was having a mandatory update, so it was in Swansea.

Unlike every other organisation, they wouldn't accept a photograph of it.

Even the traffic officer outside the polling station thought this was ridiculous.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LettersDesk We just have to remember that most fatal & life changing accidents happen on roads when the speed limits are 30mph or slower.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LCFC Barley?

Are we brewing beer or baking bread this weekend 😂😂

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC Morning Nick,

Don't forget the first u-turn by Andy Pandy.... The scrapping of LGR land grabs by Leicester & Nottingham City Councils into their respective counties.

I believe Reform were issuing legal proceedings against this.

I think LGR elsewhere is also paused.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LCFC As I said earlier in the season, this is going to be a very tough year.

We are the massive fish in a small pond and everyone will raise there game to want to beat the Premier league champions from a decade ago.

Every game will be like FA Cup 3rd round day.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC Morning Nick

Does this include the school in Tameside where it is reported they have forced pupils to stand in the rain, after refusing them entry, then sent them home even though they bought uniforms from the official school shop.

How many safeguarding issues does this raise?

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC Morning Nick,

We have to release dangerous criminals otherwise there would be no jail space for those posting hurty tweets on social media.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@EastMidRailway You know about this.

You know about the strike.

But I bet you have not reduced the number of tickets you have sold to ensure everyone has a comfortable seat rather than getting crammed in a cattle truck, as usually happens.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LCFC ... And on the subject of the cup, chances are we will get a televised away game, in the 1st round, against a team in a similar tier as Sileby Town or Anstey Nomads on a cold wet evening, in a gale, on a mud bath pitch.

That will be another massive challenge.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@LCFC This season will be harder than all the pundits think.

#LCFC were premier champions a decade ago. We are the massive fish in a miniscule pond that everyone will raise there game to want to beat.

It will be like FA Cup 3rd round day every week.

[Neil Asher @NeilNeilasher]

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC Morning Nick,

The state (taxpayer) is paying benefits with no return on expenditure

There is no good reason why the contract to receive benefits should not include community work

Future employers would also look more favourably at people who are working rather than watching TV
