"A man at war with himself places a deficit upon his focus. He is impatient, emotional and easily surprised. A man at one with himself has a clearer mind, sharper instincts. That man is ready to win. That man is ready to progress."
"Buy our shitty game or you'll lose your Destiny privileges!"
That's not how this works. The consumer holds every single ounce of power in this relationship. The players very vocally want Destiny 3. If Bungie wants to survive, they will ensure Destiny 3 gets the green light.
Kratos had probably the best character arc in gaming. He started as a man consumed by vengeance but by the end of his journey he had finally taken responsibility for his actions and come to terms with his loss and grief. Watching him transform from a destructive God of War into a symbol of hope was incredibly powerful and inspiring. That's why GoW Ragnarok will always mean a lot to me.
From all this tweet, I can only gather one thing that there are so many dumbfucks.
Y'all want the same plot as GOW trilogy, same old revenge story, same old Kratos. It doesn't really matter if Atreus dies or any character. Y'all don't want character development only blood lust. I get it.
Glad y'all are in minority and Santa Monica don't listen to y'all
No matter how much we clown on him, nobody gives their 110% to put video games in such award-like presentation like Geoff Keighley.
Now go and give me half life 3 mr keighley
you can gauge how invested someone is in gow by their take on ragnarok’s story. Its such a full circle thematic payoff to kratos’ journey. The way he allows himself to heal & realises he can become a god worthy of admiration. It maybe rushed in some parts but it’s Top 3 for me
I'm glad the internet is being totally chill about playing as a woman in God of War, someone they can't relate to.
Which is odd because Kratos, a god with muscles and the ability to speak to women, is also something they can't relate to.
