@StephenReidEdu One of my first gaming experiences was also Atari, specifically Superman. I remember flying around trying to round up Lex Luther’s gang. I remember that the purple guy was the quickest and most difficult to catch. As 7 year olds ourselves at the time, we called him Purple Pants.
@BarriMoc Yes Barri. This is indeed a no brainer. Many times in the past I’ve needed letter blocks and I’ve had to make do with the science element blocks instead. Only problem with this is that there isn’t a full alphabet. You’ve got my vote!
Hey @MichelleGosling. It was raining cats and dogs in my Y7 Computing class today. Here’s a few of my students trying out the first Coding in #MinecraftEdu lesson. Thought you’d like to know.
Here's a fun little seasonal activity for all the #MinecraftEdu fans out there. Get your students to design one square each and then use \clone to turn their work into an awesomely unique #ChristmasJumper design like this one created by members of @GrainvilleSch Minecraft Club.
A3 I think sometimes, people don’t realize just how good their everyday practice is. I know at least two teachers here in Jersey that were #MIEExperts even before they joined the program for the first time this year. @MichelleGosling @Digital_Shore#MSFTCelt
An onto Q3 for tonight's #MSFTCelt tweetmeet. We would love to know how you have helped others to become MIEExpert. How are you supporting others in your school or establishment?
A2 Being an #MIEExpert has resulted in me being more open to innovative ways of embedding the use of technology into the way in which I assess students’ work. Apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks. Right @AdGrocott? #MSFTCelt
A1 I’d say the biggest benefit of being a MIEE is the fact that it enables you to be connected with like minded individuals from across the world. That and helping me to be kept aware of the best Microsoft tools and apps that are out there. #MSFTCelt
Welcome to tonight's #MSFTCelt tweetmeet. Please introduce yourself and tell us how long you have been on the programme or if you are looking to join. Remember to use #MSFTCelt and answer with A1, A2, A3
I'm over the moon! She's only gone and won it! And a special commendation too! Many thanks to @architecturejsy for putting on the schools competition. And well done Ella - Now you're an award winning superstar architect in the making. 🏆
