Giving thanks to Within Destruction for all the music. This year I couldn’t stop listening to Neo-Yakuza. #SpotifyWrapped https://t.co/BfFrV3Ca0k

I loved all of the presentations at #FDG2023 so far, especially these talks by @susannepoeller and @helsby_laura. The results and studies were extremely telling and insightful!
@DaveEDanna More veggies and fibre. Focus on lean protein sources (chickpeas, lentils, beans, chicken, fish) and avoid red and processed meats. Reduce dairy too; the digestive system isn’t built for it.
@DaveEDanna Quite unhealthy 😬 you need to speak to a dietitian/nutritionist dude! Keep up the great work at the gym, rooting for you, but the diet needs to addressed!

This is a 2000 year old olive tree in a place called Difesa di Malta in Puglia.
Here they teach children in schools to protect nature.
In Gozitan schools instead, they teach children how to kill birds.

@DaveEDanna Dave really am rooting for you! Been following your journey as soon as I saw your tweets! I’m not so sure about your diet, did you consult a nutritionist? Sure it tastes great but from my experience with personal training it seems way too highly caloric and lacks vital nutrients
With inner peace, external problems will not affect tranquility nor will it distort a positive vision. Without inner peace, no matter the luxuries and comfort of the material world, worries and unhappiness will easily trouble the mind.
A calm nervous system is not boredom; a grave misconception. Being at peace and calm is not boring: the mind simply got used to constant chaos. Trying to increase chaos to alleviate boredom will just stir more nerves.
Yes, love yourself, that’s very important. Analyze, be critical of how you think, act and behave: self-love without self-awareness is useless. Be accountable. Change comes from within.
10. Finally, I learnt how to value things in life. I learnt what my priorities are and to make the most out of the time I have on this planet by choosing not to dwell on the negatives, by focusing on the positives, meditation, fitness and investing in loving relationships.
Reflections for #2022
A year which got many things started again, and saw me excel! From my studies to traveling, physical fitness and mental fortitude, love and friendship. Let’s get an even better #2023!
