@DAaronovitch Next you will be telling me that there is a small ideological group that meets in secret before the bigger momentum group in case the big group gets the vote wrong - what was the name for that?
@tcmacmillan@robfordmancs If you want early warning of what was to come look at Europeam.elections - low.turnouts - rise of Ukip vote especially collapse of labour in the South
@DAaronovitch@J_Bloodworth the new Parliamentary Labour Party which will be formed in the next few days is a separate.organisation from the NEC. Start there. Corbyn does not have a majority among MPs. Do to Corbyn what Livingstone did to Andrew MacIntosh all those years ago - not holding my breath.
@stephenpollard The first question is whether tbe new parliamentary labour party formed in the next.week bows the knee to the labour NEC or asserts its constitutional independence
@DPJHodges We knew Corbyn would cost labour the election- then we thought it could nt be that big then it was - looks like people had made their mind up in Sept
@chrishanretty @Ross_Renton Interestinf number but it really depnds whether they ar in marginal -the 1992 election https://t.co/Jl5GOaLKBP.the conservative favour by 1248 votes spread over 11 seats even thought the conservatives were 2 million ahead in national vote every vote matters
@drianpace@nickhillman Did Blair ever say 50% at 18 or was it 50% have some kind of HE by 30 as in Germany which included lots of in work HE - can anyone find original speech link at LSE???
@steverichards14@joswinson Why does Corbyn letter to opposition parties not include asking SinnFein to take there 7 seats and help Ireland avoid Brexit.
Can someone tell me why, say, Hilary Benn shouldn’t be nominated as the caretaker PM, supported by all those who oppose a no deal Brexit? Then everyone including presumably Unity Corbyn could get behind him.
