@lwilliamsjones 2/2 on Day 1, is there follow up to support for them before the first reports are due? If direction has been given on X, how are they supported with this? A planned approach to new staff induction, across the year, is important in them becoming a member of the community quickly
@lwilliamsjones@lwilliamsjones Inset days are always interesting from a planning perspective. I think an important aspect, especially for any new staff, is what happens in the period following the inset days? Is there a regular check in? Whilst writing reports may have been talked about โฆ 1/2
@Miss_Falveyxx@MrTs_NQTs It is possible and I found it refreshing to focus on doing something for myself, as opposed to doing school work all the time. I also did an MBA, as opposed to a Masters in Education. It helped to broaden my understanding business/leadership etc. from other sectors.
@RossMcGill Agree with this @RossMcGill Making the transistion is difficult and it takes bravery to leave the relative security of teaching. However, teachers have a fantastic range of skills and these skills are valued by employees within the wider education community and other sectors.
Wishing all the teachers who are breaking up today, or who have already broken up, a wonderful Summer Holiday.
A special mention to all those across the @WRAcademies at @AlderTreeLeeds@LeedsCityWay@LeedsEastWay and @LeedsWestWay -it has been great working with you this year ๐๐ผ
A brilliant example of the impact @HPLedu has had across the @WRAcademies. I am impressed upon every visit and get to work with a fantastic group of committed staff. #HPL#HPSA#WRAT
Before half term, colleagues from across the WRAT gathered to share how @HPLedu strategies have been utilised in the classroom!
Colleagues focussed on how the 'Linking' ACP is being used to encourage pupils to see connections across the curriculum.
I am fortunate to work with these excellent Middle Leaders through @LeedsCityWay adopting @HPLedu They are a wonderful group of professionals who are incredibly passionate about their respective subjects and their students. Well done all ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

Please excuse the personal post, but for the month of April I will be raising awareness of Testicular Cancer Month.
It is three years to the day that I found out I had testicular cancer.
Thankfully I have been all clear since July 2019, but it is so important to catch the 1/3
