@OVOEnergy Just got an email saying my direct debit is increasing by around 40%. I'm a pensioner living of state pension and NO benefits.... this is crippling!
@KatieChutzpah@WingsScotland Yes, a friend of mine had three kidneys, took a bit of getting my head round, he did explain that they kept the failing one. I have had a partial nephrectomy so it's good to know all this.
@WingsScotland I had a 'growth' on my kidney, showed up on a scan. Got a NHS appointment in 3 months to have it removed by a partial Nephrectomy and was found out to be cancerous. Being a major organ I would guess treatment on NHS would be quick, sounds a bit of a scam.
@GerryHassan I've been working (live sessions) for BBC since the 80's and saw it shunted out of the magnificent stage setting of Queen St to The Tun!, Queen Margaret Drive to Pacific Quay. Each cull taking away loads of live music sessions with it and a wee bit of PRS. Where are we now? SKINT
@scottishmusic@CreativeScots@EkosLtd@GlasgowJazzFest I'll fill in their survey when they can define the cities correctly in their pull down menu. A Scottish company (EKOS) who don't recognise Dunfermline as a City? If you come from Dunf' you have to say Fife yet it lists Dundee City and Aberdeen City. Aye right!
@ionafyfe As a pensioner and musician I think I'll just go back to bed. Wont be anything there to supplement either the embarrassingly low state pension and help the closure of pubs/venues.
@BBCScotland@BBCiPlayer I thought you couldnt get worse than 70's Andy Stewart.... but. Even the 70's Thingummyjig was far better than this... and that takes some beating.
@Aaronfilmwrit85 It was absolute drivel. If these are the current flagship entertainers we are truly doomed. I thought Thingummyjig in the 70s was second rate.. this continues the tradition.
@MrEwanMorrison As a musician/composer for 50 years I decided to download and pay for a subscription to SUNO the AI 'music composer'. After the honeymoon period (3 days) of exploring what it can do. I 'composed' around 20 pieces of slop. If Fisher-Price made songwriting tools.
@FionaHyslop Well they might be better than trains in India but apart from that I would rate them 2 out of 5. The west coast line to Helensburgh and Fife trains are sub-par, how often do they clean the toilets?
@operabinoculars@TheSun BBC is knee deep in mud and sinking slowly. I would have loved a visit from licence inspectors on Xmas day to tell them to GTF.
