My sister-in-law went through 15(!) hour heart surgery yesterday at @heartinstitute (who are awesome).
Recovering but will be kept sedated for a couple of days.
Can’t imagine the bill if she had to pay out of pocket.
Our healthcare system ain’t perfect, but it’s pretty damn great. We should make it even better.
