After 3 days of full-on symptoms, and a positive RAT, I officially get to become a statistic tomorrow. So frickin’ excited … #Omicron#Covid_19#covidtest
Covid Diary Day 3 - still feeling really tired, dry cough, blocked nose. Taste & smell ok. Not one #mosquito has tried to bite me since I tested +ve (highly unusual) - perhaps they could be the new RAT ?! #Covid_19#Omicron#ideas
Of course, 2021 takes one final swipe at me as it walks out the door. Positive RAT, and all the symptoms. I won’t be an official statistic for another day or 2 though! Pretty sure wherever I got it from, I spent less than 4 hours with them… #Omicron
Also slightly disturbed at the #informalvote numbers coming through. I thought 19.5% in #strathfield was bad, until I saw 38.4% in the South Granville Ward of Cumberland ! Are these indicative first round numbers, or is there a bigger issue this time around?
Love Neil Lithgow’s weekly community program on @radio2rdj - privileged to be interviewed with @FundInstituteAu Australian Fundraiser of the Year Trudi Mitchell.
Obligatory baby photo to celebrate my 50th (and WORST) year on this Earth. (Yes, I’m aware that even back then, I was totally working it !). #fiddy#stillthinkimlate20s
The highlight of my weekend: My partner-of-10-years’ almost-4yo grandson looking at us as we left a family lunch, saying,”But Mum why are there two dads?”. (My casual reply was “‘Cause sometimes there just are, mate”. He was fine with this). #thingskidssay#prejudiceislearned
