In the US, even having health insurance doesn’t mean access to the care you need.

As more individuals qualify for these costly medications, plans are more likely to decline to cover them because healthcare incentives in the US are based on cost, not outcomes.

This backwards way of thinking leaves behind the more than 57 million eligible adults under 65 in the private insurance market in the US who are clinically eligible for a GLP-1.
