@DevilishHerki @KamalPanesar Kap had a great season, way beyond all expectations. Buy it the playoffs MSL couldn't trust him, and rightfully so. 2C is a glaring need on the team that can't wait 2+ years to address. If Slav could fill it, it would avoid massive overpayment via trade or FA.

@KamalPanesar It won't be easy, but Slav is a smart kid. I think he'd pick up the defensive responsibilities and he has the play making skills for the offensive side. Face offs may be a bit of a problem, but you'll have some insurance with Newhook. Work for Carolina with Stankoven.

@DevilishHerki @KamalPanesar I'm not sure if Hage plays centre his rookie year. The learning curve from NCAA to NHL is steep. Hage will get there, bit maybe not for the first couple of years. And the Habs need a top tier centre next year of they want to improve.
